75th Anniversary of Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills
The Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills is a volunteer group built upon improving lives through leadership, service, and most importantly fun. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Our local community we serve encompasses Basking Ridge, Bedminster, Bernardsville, Bridgewater, Raritan, and other local towns. As a club, we sponsor local high school Key Clubs at Bridgewater-Raritan HS, Bernards HS, and Ridge HS.
Our club was originally the Kiwanis Club of Basking Ridge and Bernardsville and then in 1985 was renamed the Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills to also include the communities of Bedminster and Peapack-Gladstone. Today, we welcome members from throughout Somerset County and surrounding areas.
Some of the methods for helping our community are through fundraising efforts and hands-on service projects.

The Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills was chartered on January 31, 1948 in Basking Ridge.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at Gabriel’s Fountain Restaurant, 1948 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836.
What is Kiwanis?
Kiwanis Service
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
Our Kiwanis club focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. To reach more people and have a greater service impact on their communities, many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities.
